Valkyrie Ensemble presents an all femme production of G.F. Handel's glittering Baroque gem Acis & Galatea. Acis loves the water nymph Galatea. Galatea loves Acis. But the jealous Polyphemus stands in their way of happiness. Based on a mythological story, this production moves the action poolside where the comedy and drama of young love unfolds under the summer sun. Melanie will sing the role of Damon in this production.
